Yin / Restorative Yoga (Deep Stretching and Relaxing)
Yin / Restorative Yoga is classified as a therapeutic form of Yoga. Yin / Restorative yoga is a practice is all about slowing down and limber your body through passive, deep stretching. If you take Yin / Restorative class, be aware that we may doing just a handful of postures in the course of an hour. During long holds of Yin / Restorative yoga, muscles are allowed to relax deeply and the body restores natural range of motion. Classes usually consist of a series passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues.
Yoga Sculpt (Core Focused)
This is a strength-focused yoga practice integrated with Pilates for core stabilization and strength training and finally melting into a deep stretch and relaxation. In this class, you’ll most likely have fun and feel your body working at your pace you can be comfortable with for burning calories.
Yoga Sculpt Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Yoga Sculpt classes tend to target the core, although the exercises work other areas of your body as well. Expect to feel the burn but not workup a cardio-style sweat.
